Eutopix Labs is the data controller for the limited personal data described in this policy. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to privacy@jobdossier.app.
Scope and privacy summary
This policy covers the JobDossier app, jobdossier.app, and correspondence with support. The app does not require an account and contains no advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics SDK, or third-party crash-reporting SDK. Optional first-party usage counts, described below, are sent only if you turn them on in Settings; sharing is off by default.
Report content is not uploaded to Eutopix Labs. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
Report data stored on your device
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, site addresses, report text, materials, photographs, annotations, business profile details, logos, and drawn signatures are stored in JobDossier’s local app container using Apple’s device storage technologies. A drawn signature is treated as report content; JobDossier does not perform biometric identification or analysis.
Eutopix Labs does not operate a remote report database and cannot view, retrieve, or delete this local content for you. You or the organisation using the app decide why report data is collected, whether you have permission to use it, how long it is retained, and with whom it is shared.
Your operating-system settings may include JobDossier data in an Apple-managed device backup. That backup is controlled through your Apple Account and device settings, not by Eutopix Labs.
Optional iCloud Drive backup
You can back up JobDossier to iCloud Drive in your own Apple Account, manually or, with Pro, automatically. Backups are off until you turn them on. Each backup file contains your reports (text, items, customer names, contact details, site addresses, and drawn signatures), clients, and business profile, plus technical details used to manage backups: the app version, the backup time, your device's name, and a random identifier for this installation. Photos are not included in iCloud backups; they stay on the device and are only included in backup files you export yourself.
The files are stored in a JobDossier folder that is visible in the Files app. Apple stores and syncs them under your iCloud settings and Apple's terms; Eutopix Labs never receives them and cannot access them. The app keeps the newest 10 automatic backups from each device plus one per month for the last 12 months, and manual backups stay until you delete them. Turning backups off does not delete existing copies: delete them in the app's backup screen or in the Files app.
For businesses and organisations
Customer and report data you enter in JobDossier stays on your device, in your own iCloud Drive, or in files you export. When you or your organisation record information about customers or other people, you (or your organisation) are the controller of that data. Eutopix Labs receives none of it and acts as neither controller nor processor for it. There are no sub-processors for report data and no developer access to reports. The only data the app can send to Eutopix Labs is the optional usage counts described below. This also applies when an organisation deploys the app through Apple Business Manager or device management.
Photos, camera, exports, and backups
Camera and photo-library access is optional and used only when you choose to capture or select report evidence or a business logo. JobDossier does not upload your photo library or scan photos you did not select.
You choose where to export or share PDFs and backup files. Once content is sent through Mail, Messages, AirDrop, cloud storage, or another app, that recipient or service handles the copy under its own privacy terms. Backup files may contain the full report database, including customer details, photos, and signatures, so you should store and transmit them securely.
Dictation and Writing Assist
Dictation is optional. JobDossier requests microphone and speech-recognition permission only when you start dictation. When supported for your language and device, the app requires on-device speech recognition. If on-device recognition is unavailable, Apple’s Speech service may send dictated audio to Apple for processing under Apple’s privacy terms and your device settings. Audio is not retained by JobDossier after the recognition session and is never sent to Eutopix Labs.
Writing Assist uses Apple’s on-device System Language Model on compatible Apple Intelligence devices. The note and suggestion are not sent to Eutopix Labs. A suggestion is displayed for your review and does not replace the original note unless you approve it.
Purchases and App Store information
Apple processes subscriptions and one-time purchases through the App Store. JobDossier uses StoreKit to receive product information, verify transactions, restore purchases, and determine whether Pro access is active. Eutopix Labs does not receive your full payment-card details.
Apple may provide Eutopix Labs with App Store sales, subscription, storefront, proceeds, performance, and diagnostic reports. Depending on the report, this can include product and transaction information, country or storefront, subscription status, and an Apple-generated subscriber identifier. We use this information to provide purchases, maintain financial records, prevent abuse, answer support requests, and understand aggregate app performance. Apple handles this information under its own privacy policy.
Advertising measurement (Apple)
JobDossier shows no ads, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), never shows an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Apple's own measurement. If you install JobDossier after tapping an Apple Ads advertisement, Apple may count the install and attribute it to that ad using its own App Store measurement. Apple is responsible for that processing; see Apple's privacy policy.
- EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland. From the first update of JobDossier released after 14 October 2026, the app sends no SKAdNetwork or AdAttributionKit conversion value in these regions. Earlier versions may send the coarse, aggregate value described below in every country.
- Other regions. Outside these regions (and, in earlier versions, everywhere) the app may send a coarse, aggregate conversion value through Apple's SKAdNetwork/AdAttributionKit: a number from 0 to 3 describing progress during the first days after installation (for example: app opened, first report exported, offer viewed, subscribed or bought). It contains no identifier, no IDFA and nothing about you or your reports, and no ATT prompt is shown. Apple passes it on delayed and combined with other installs; Eutopix Labs receives only aggregated postbacks that identify no one. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring our own advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where applicable).
Optional usage sharing
JobDossier does not track you across apps or websites and does not use an advertising identifier. In versions that offer Usage analytics in Settings, you can choose to share basic counts to help Eutopix Labs improve JobDossier. Sharing is off by default and normal features remain usable without it. Counts cover app opens, successful tasks, paywall and plan choices, purchase outcomes and useful returns, plus app version and build number, platform, distribution channel (App Store, TestFlight or unknown), UTC day and consent-cohort week. We do not send report contents, photos, text, recordings, precise locations, financial amounts, name, email, advertising identifiers or persistent account, installation or device identifiers. Purchase outcomes are categories, not transaction identifiers or amounts; locally used transaction identifiers are not uploaded. A temporary random batch identifier recognizes retries. Nothing is collected or queued for analytics before consent.
Eutopix Labs operates the collector using Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1. The database is restricted to the European Union, but Cloudflare's network may process requests elsewhere and necessarily sees the network address during transport. The collector’s application code does not log or store IP addresses, request headers or raw request bodies. Cloudflare may still process infrastructure and security information under its own obligations and applicable safeguards. Requests are not guaranteed anonymous or entirely processed within the EU. No advertising personalization or cross-company tracking is added.
Unsent counts expire after 7 days. Daily cleanup removes retry identifiers older than 8 days and aggregate counts older than 400 days. Provider recovery copies may retain earlier database states for an additional recovery window, currently up to 30 days depending on the Cloudflare plan. Turning sharing off deletes unsent counts and local sharing metadata; requests already sent may already have been accepted. Combined totals contain no person identifier, so we cannot locate or erase a person's past contribution. We process these counts only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by turning sharing off. Questions and applicable rights requests can be sent to privacy@jobdossier.app.
Website, cookies, and support
This website has no account, contact form, advertising pixels, or product analytics code. Cloudflare may process standard technical request data—such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and time—to deliver and secure the site. We do not use that data for advertising or cross-site tracking.
We do not set advertising, analytics, or preference cookies and do not use browser local storage; the site framework keeps one technical flag in session storage to prevent page-reload loops. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it presents a security challenge. If non-essential cookies are added later, this policy will be updated and consent requested where required.
If you email support, we receive the address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to provide. Do not send customer-sensitive reports, photos, signatures, or backups unless necessary, redacted where possible, and you are authorised to share them.
Purposes, legal bases, and retention
We process support correspondence to answer your request and operate the service, based on steps requested by you, performance of our agreement, our legitimate interest in providing support and protecting the service, and legal obligations where applicable. Support correspondence is normally deleted or anonymised within 24 months after a request is closed.
Purchase and transaction information is processed to perform the purchase agreement, administer Pro access, prevent fraud, comply with accounting and tax duties, and establish or defend legal claims. We keep accounting and tax records for as long as Polish accounting and tax law require — usually 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the related tax fell due (Accounting Act art. 74; Tax Ordinance arts. 70 and 86) — or longer while reasonably necessary for a dispute. App purchases are sold by Apple, so your purchases do not appear in our accounting records. Website security data is processed for our legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable site and is retained by the hosting provider according to its operational policies.
Report content stored only on your device is not retained by Eutopix Labs. Local reports remain until you delete them or the app. Removing the app normally removes its local container, but copies can remain in exports, backups, recipients’ systems, or Apple-managed device backups.
Recipients and international transfers
Apple provides App Store, StoreKit, speech-recognition, Apple Intelligence, and device services under its own terms. Cloudflare provides website delivery and security and, if you turn on usage sharing, operates the infrastructure for the usage collector; our email provider processes support correspondence. Professional advisers, courts, regulators, or public authorities may receive limited data where reasonably necessary or legally required.
These providers can process information outside the European Economic Area. Where Eutopix Labs appoints a processor, we require appropriate contractual and technical safeguards. Transfers are protected by applicable mechanisms such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
What you must provide
You are not required to contact support or provide personal data directly to Eutopix Labs. If you request support, we need a reply address and enough information to understand the issue; without that information, we may be unable to respond or resolve it. Please provide only what is necessary.
Apple and StoreKit require the transaction information needed to complete, verify, or restore a purchase. If that information is unavailable, JobDossier can continue to operate with the free features, but we may be unable to provide or restore Pro access. Usage sharing is optional and off by default. Report fields, photos, dictation, signatures, and backups are optional unless you choose a feature that needs them, and content kept locally is not provided to Eutopix Labs.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal data held by Eutopix Labs. You may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Send a request to privacy@jobdossier.app. We may need to verify your identity and normally respond to GDPR requests within one month. We cannot provide or delete reports that remain only on your device because we do not possess them.
You may complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, or the competent authority where you live or work. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share personal information. The only categories we handle are identifiers and messages you send by email, commercial information in Apple's purchase reports, website network data and, if you opt in, aggregate usage counts, used for the purposes described above.
Do Not Track: this site and our apps do not track you across third-party sites or services, so they behave the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Security, children, and changes
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the limited information we process. No device, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device, exported files, and backups, and keep a separate copy of reports you must retain.
JobDossier is a business utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. We may update this policy when the product, providers, or law changes. The date shown above identifies the current version, and material changes will be communicated where required.
